“Powered by Wordpress” Installing the Software
I’m not going to try to take you through the install process of the blog software from Wordpress.org (they say it’s so easy, but I had a bit of trouble getting it done).But Cashblog-n.com is proof I did git-er-done:-) I will, however provide links to instructions from people that can help you through the install process.
Why should your blog be “Powered by Wordpress“, you might ask, because nearly all Internet Marketers use Wordpress. Not a free blog from Wordpress.com but a hosted blog from Wordpress.org. They’re all “Powered by Wordpress” because WP is the way to go, it’s just as simple as that. You can have some free Blogger blogs, that’s all good, but sooner or later you really need to setup a WP blog! There’s just too many advantages.
To host your blog you’ll have to pay for hosting of course, I host this blog at BlueVoda.com and would highly recommend them. They have a great support forum here that has some very knowledgeable people check out Learning To Upload Files. They are cheaply priced, provide 600 gigs of space (enough for a whole lot of blogs), and all the bandwidth you would need.

Well there you are, that should get you through the process as smoothly as possible. Follow the install instructions closely step by step and you’ll git-er-done too, and your blog will also be “Powered by Wordpress“.
Setting up a hosted blog may seem beyond your capabilities, but it’s really not, seriously just about anyone can do it! If you decide to go for it and need help just contact me here, I’m no expert, but I’ll help you click by click and page by page and we’ll accomplish the feat together I promise you!
If you find you still need to talk to someone else contact your hosting company, and joining the Wordpress Support Forum couldn’t hurt either.

Hello webmaster, I read this post titled “By Wordpress” about a week ago, might have been last Sunday, and thought it was a good point. I’ve been trying for the last few days to find your site again but ended up finding it in Google using the keywords “”. I just started using Wordpress after using Blogger for years. I found it really easy to install and set up – although my host has Fantastico so that helped quite a bit I guess.
Yeah I’ve used Blogger for a few years too, very easy to implement and you can monetize your blog (but not on Wordpress.com.)There is just so much more you can do with a Wordpress.org blog, but I’ll still have blogs using all three formats.

I think Blogger blogs have their place, since I’m building some niche blogs. They’re quick and easy to set up, and you can monetize in any way you want.
If you want to set up a blog you’ll be serious about I would recommend a hosted Wordpress.org blog of course!

When you really master wordpress I think it’s more easy than blogger because I always want to customize those themes and layouts. With blogger the customization is way harder than wordpress that is hosted on your own hosting account.
I’m learning more all the time about the tech stuff (you have to if you want to attain any sort of self sufficiency)but haven’t tried much customization of the code yet.At first I was leary of changing things but it seems to be a fairly simple task to accomplish.
I would like to customize the header of this blog, and I will all in dew time. Right now most of my focus is on creating niche blogs to get some income streams flowing!;o)

On way to make it really easy it to make sure you hosting accoutn has cpanel. In cpanel, you can go to fantasticos deluxe and do an install from there. Once that is done. all you need to do is use a free ftp program to upload any themes you may like and have already downloaded from the internet!

True Grace, I do have c-panel with BlueVoda, and while installing Wordpress is a one click deal-upgrading to the newest version is not.
Regardless of your technical capabilities I would suggest upgrading to the newest version.
Once you’re up and running with it just install the Wordpress Automatic Upgrade Plugin, and upgrading after that is simple!
Building a blog on Wordpress was the best decision I ever made. It really launched my online business career.
But don’t limit yourself to using Wordpress only as a blog platform. The software is amazingly flexible and I now use it for all kinds of sites – including niche content sites.

Yes, that’s who I’m targeting with most of my posts PeterQ, all the “newbies” out there. During these troubled economic times
there will be more people coming online, “newbies” if you will, looking for a fast and easy way to earn some extra cash. Although
I can’t promise it’s will be “fast or easy” there is money to be made online, if you get the basics in place ie: a website, build a list of
subscribers, ect. Wow…I think I feel a new post coming on!
One thing you didn’t mention is that WP is probably one of the easiest to set up and manage…I was looking into Drupal, and can I tell you headache! I love WP..but still getting used to the new 2.7
