Pinging Services
I’m going to devote several posts to increasing traffic to your blog (a common problem, and who doesn’t want more traffic?) Increasing traffic to your blog is easier then you may think, And More traffic=more cash earned!
So stop letting your blog just sit there collecting dust, let’s start building some traffic!
For those of you who may not know a pinging service sends out a “ping” to pinging sites so people will know your blog has been updated. Your blog will flash on the side of their screen with a link to it. This is a very simple way to get some visitors to your blog.
Some of the pinging services are: Yahoo’s blo.gs,Weblog.com,Google blog search,Zingfast,Ping-o-matic,Autopinger.

Don’t know if you’re aware with this or not but over pinging one post to these ping services may get your site permanently banned from those sites. I’d advice to install a wordpress plugin called ping optimizer if it is wordpress blog. It optimize ping which ultimately optimize pinging time of your blog.
