Link baiting is definitely one of the best strategies when it comes to promoting your site; with the best content and stuff that people actually want to link to, you no longer have to build backlinks to maintain a top position; other people link to your viral content for you!

Never used them Rosia, I do most link building the old fashioned way by hand! I have a feeling that good ole Google knows when you use automated programs, cause I’ve used a few (auto article submission, auto bookmarking, etc.) and I don’t see much seo benefit from them. I have a feeling too that the people who develop these programs use them until they are no longer very effective and then go ahead and make them available to you and me. Just my two cents worth, and I have no real proof, besides just experimenting and finding out what works and what don’t!

Anyway Rosia, link baiting (as explained in my post) is something you do as you create content for your site, and asking for links from established sites in your niche, as well as article marketing, social bookmarking, guest posting, pinging, etc. can get you some of the best backlinks. You just need to be consistent in your link building efforts, and over time you’ll see your seo benefiting. Hope this helps Rosia, if you still have questions just contact me.
